Turnpike- 5 if old turnpike 2/3 if road linked to turnpike

Inclosure records- 10 if set out in award as public, 5 if otherwise mentioned

Tithe record- 5 if unapportioned or described as a parish road

Parish estate or manorial maps 2 up to a maximum of 4

River and drainage records- 5

Railway records-5

OS maps first edition 1/2500- 1, or 3 where area book describes as road or similar

OS boundary remark books- up to 5

OS journals of inspection- up to 4

OS object names book- up to 4

Later OS maps- 2 if a suitable comparison can be drawn, 1 if simply shown, add 1 if described as fp or br.  Maximum of 3 from all sources in this section

Highway records- 4

Highway board minutes- 4

Highway handover maps- 5

Parish records -4

Main road orders- 5

Quarter sessions records 10 if the order relates to the route, 5 if referred to

Other stopping up and extinguishment orders, 10 for stopping up where route is replacement, 5 if shown but not subject of order, 5 if shown in a retention for cables etc.

Inland revenue 1910- 5 for white roads and for routes where deductions can be made that are defined, 3 for routes where a deduction was made but it is not clear where it is. Domesday book 2 if deduction shown, but not if field book deduction counted.
